Break - Free

Trapped, it was,
somewhere confused, a bird so low,
Not knowing how to escape,
not knowing where to blow...
Wrapped it was, in a sheet
Of some unknown sorrow,
Not knowing how to unfurl
From the meaningless emotions borrowed.

A cage of gold, food of the royals,
Served in it was the love to misguide...
Attractive, delicious,
but against its morals,
Mixed was a poison in disguise.

A cage so invisible, waiting to scare,
How to escape?
would be an all time dare,
To stay or to fly,
choice was there,
Bound within limits,
hidden in some glare.

Strange it is, this bird exists, within each one of us,
In our closed fists, in our closed minds,
while making decisions,
When we hesitate to express love
When we stop ourselves from saying an honest word.
But how many times do we realize in real,
that inside us we create a burial
of false thoughts,of false happiness,
only to cage us even more...

Break-free from wrong thoughts,Which confuse you from making the right decisions,
Break - free from false promises
Which exist only to create tensions.
Break - free from hesitations
That stop you from expressing yourself
Break - free from the cage of gold
Its only the outer look, not the inner truth.

Being SINGLE

Freedom, with its wings spread wide
comes to hug warm and tight,
Smile, free of any occasions,
finds meaningless reasons to flash on site.
Rains splash a shower so clear,
dancing to flaunt like the funkiest clowns.
The air has all the power surreal,
laughter to offer in the creepiest sounds.

Flaws are known, mistakes alone,
Responsibility centered for one and own...
Selfishness carries just no regrets,
Partying has no fears cloned.
A pride of the swan, a shine in the dawn,
Life gives chances to groom it along...
Confidence at par, waiting to snarl...
Facing the competition while singing a song.

No answers to give, no supports to rely,
No shoulders to look for after a tiring storm,
Choices infinite comes with chances to try
Independence has an all new form...

Results your own, who cares a penny!
Jokes in particular, why to care, when anything can seem funny!

Responsibilities alone,ample of time
Discoveries within, self respect on prime
A moment with friends, a moment with strangers
Time to know as many, no selection in particulars
Experiences new, with risks to share..
Guarantees regardless, but fun to to declare.

Being single is like a free flowing river with mountains standing high to applause you throughout,
Being single is like a wet seed waiting to find its own direction to become a tree someday...
Being single may be craving to find someone someday....but at the end...IT ALL ABOUT YOU and about only those people in your life...WHO ACTUALLY MEAN TO YOU...MORE THAN YOU ( if they do!)

Stop creating MONSTERS in the Society!

Today I am writing this post with immense pain in my heart from the recent incident where a five year old was raped in a horrendous way and which has brought just numbness inside many of us, fear in most of us and rage with no reactions from the concerned! Another horrific incident, another terrible reality, another incident with screams screeching through our hearts, an incident which repeats itself yet in another, innocent form questioning our society in so many ways.

For a while, I don't want to point fingers at the JUDICIARY or the POLICEMEN or even the GOVERNMENT, I just want to ask something to each one of you, ARE YOU A HUMAN or just a HOMO-SAPIEN or not even that? Please don't be surprised with this question, there is a huge difference between a Human and a Homo-sapien and an ANIMAL! A civilized man can control his urge to being attracted to the opposite sex (of any age) may what come. Why do we term human as a Social animal and not an ANIMAL? Social, the word comes from a Society, the so - called Civilized Society. But the process of being civilized comes from a many number of things. The bringing up, the culture and most importantly... RESPECT! So, where is that respect?

I am obviously concerned of the Laws not being taken into action, but more than that what I am concerned is WHY DID THIS INCIDENT EVER TOOK PLACE? She is just a 5 year old after all. JUST A FIVE YEAR OLD GIRL! What was her fault, to be born a GIRL IN THIS SHAMELESS SOCIETY OF MONSTERS?

Now coming to the judiciary and our so-called LAW SYSTEM and Police force, well its because the dragging attitude they carry out in these incident that has increased the number of fearless monsters moving freely in our society. The less the fear, the more the crimes. The present reactions from our speechless government and non-reactive judiciary is a reason why these crimes keep on happening. Well, yes the criminal gets arrested sometimes, but what next? BAIL, JAIL (for some days, months? okay years...then?) Is that really enough? If the criminal is a COMMON MAN.....with uncommon urges, he is sent to jail (for sometime!!) If he is spoiled brat of a Powerful Rich family, no long he is arrested, is he bailed out! Why are our laws so weak that the criminals aren't scared of committing crimes?

The history always repeats itself, and when it comes to innocent people, well they are the one suffering always, just ALWAYS!! Its true, that these cases appear to have taken rise recently, but the truth is, we have become aware of them recently owing to the media and awareness on this terms. But is being aware enough? Why do we finally end up taking responsibilities of our and have to think twice before going just anywhere? Why are parents more scared to sent their daughters outside than the criminals who should be more scared of committing a crime?
Indian women actually are born with the tagline - LIVE AT YOUR OWN RISK!!
It is taken for granted now, even by our culture and system, that females should be in limits. What limits - have you tried to understand that word 'limit' for a woman? Well, it ranges from a numerous number of things starting from timings, clothes, behaviour to making friends, their education, freedom etc. and the list is endless. And not only this, when something happens to a girl, people raise fingers at her only!! But in all this, what did you do? Well, YOU GAVE BIRTH TO A MONSTER SOMEWHERE.....inside you and inside many people who believe that controlling a girl's freedom is all it takes to protect her from the crimes in the society. Well the answer to this is a big NO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Coming back to the recent incident, rape of a 5 year old innocent girl, well what limits were set for her by the way? That she should stop portraying being a girl? Or just because she is too small to protect herself and rage her voice against the crime being committed on her? If we want to ignore something for just any reason, we will get thousand reasons to do that! The point is not that our system does not act, the point is that we all are running a factory of producing monsters somewhere and the roots of this production need to be destroyed completely. When we stop a girl from doing something just for the sake of her femininity or that our culture doesn't permit such, in name of protection, we allow someone else to take that point for granted and consider every girl to do the same. In this process we pass a signal, that it s okay to get the urge to impose your wants on her, but it is not okay if she wants to live her own life, on her terms.

When the Prime Minister stayed quiet so long and the Gang-rape victim was struggling for her life, his silence conveyed that there isn't a big deal about that crime...and HE GAVE BIRTH TO MONSTERS somewhere!
When the policeman slapped the girl who protested, and water guns were projected at the crowd asking for justice, they conveyed that raising your voice will not help, and innocent people are meant to suffer....and THEY GAVE BIRTH TO MONSTERS somewhere.
When the parents allowed the boy to do everything and the girl was stopped from doing the same, just because SHE WAS A GIRL, they conveyed that its her fault being born a girl and that if something happens it will be more her fault than the criminal...and THEY GAVE RISE TO MONSTERS somewhere!

This discussion is something that can go on for years and years in form of countless examples, debates, meetings, petitions and what not....but the fact remains, somewhere our society is creating monsters who cannot control their urges and rages, wants and powers and end up doing horrendous crimes, just because sometimes in their life they were not taught to RESPECT and CONTROL!

Horrendous crimes need horrendous punishments as well. Destroying the roots will come from creating a fear among people from being scared to even think of doing any such thing. It is NOT JUST ANY OTHER CRIME......IT IS A CRIME, more Punishable and more Brutal and Inhuman. As long the fear of preventing a girl of her freedom is more than the fear of imposing your urges on her, the rapes will never end! Afterall, we don't stop living just with the fear of getting murdered, do we? Then why are girls are prevented to do so....think again!

Confusions, a while!

Rough or clear? Shadowed in fear,
Confusions a while, hold me near,
A drop of tear, a preyed on deer,
A body hanging on a sharpened spear.

Here or there? Actually nowhere,
Mistakes done alone have no share,
As incidents of life peep to snare
A tumbling foot after the running hare.

Catch or snatch?  Difficult to fetch
The doors of hopes have tightened their latch,
As flicks of experiences leave a patch
On the clear background with just no match.

Try or fly? But where and Why?
Moments so fast, just flash by,
Wishes thunder a glimpse so shy,
Hesitations countless, force to lie.

Endless or pointless? The game plays on,
Life lays silent behind a lonely song...
Answered or unanswered speech so long,
Planned to let go or planned to stay on?

More or Less? Life is a mess,
Confusions a while totally meaningless!
Murmuring a chant having no-one to bless
Begging to grant a life, not so Hopeless!

If RELIGION were no BAR

It was 8:30 am on the clock, and as I sat sipping the hot cup of tea today morning, my eyes scrolled through the front page of AM (Ahmedabad Mirror). The headline read, “Muslim woman swaps kidney with Hindu wife to save husband”. As I took interest to read it through, the article touched me and set my mind churning into so many thoughts, inspiring me to write this post.

RELIGION is a word which is commonly heard from birth itself. As we grow to start understanding what the world around us looks like, how people around us are, whether who is a girl and who is a boy, we are first taught which religion we belong. As a child I used to understand it as teams of some sports game. Just like there are separate teams in any game, I considered that religion has different types to teams and I belonged to one. But I soon realized, it was much more than that.

Let us check upon the actual meaning of this word ‘religion’ - a cause, principle, or system of beliefs held to with ardor and faith, a personal set or institutionalized system of beliefs and practices. (Webster Meaning). Belief comes from ‘to believe’, to accept some truth confidently. But whom should we believe in? We all are aware as human beings that some supernatural force made this universe and we all exist on a planet called earth! But have you ever tried to question as to who divided the humans into ‘teams’ (would still like to use this word) which we formally term as religions today? How many of us accept our religion confidently, and not in some fear from someone or something? How far this belief goes, to what extent?

When the supernatural force made a human being, it did not label him with a religion neither print a name on his forehead saying you will be called so from now. That human being was in all terms pure, clean, transparent, natural and free. But when he stepped on earth, it was a globe of divisions - Divisions of religion, divisions of colour, divisions of rich and poor etc. And human being has become more a product having certified features than a being himself. What is natural left about him when everything he is explained from is artificial? His thoughts too have become artificial with the countless ‘beliefs’ around him!

He is more a HUMAN-THING rather a HUMAN-BEING!

Coming back to religion, which is the main aspect of all the divisions while other are sub-divisions, let us talk about only faith and belief for a while. As a human I am born free. Then if I choose not to believe in a particular type of God, and respect the supernatural force as it is, what am I? Well, that’s another category in itself again. There two kinds of people in this word based on this concept of religion, ‘atheists (those who don’t believe in God)’ and ‘theists(those who believe in God)’

People often say that, if these divisions weren't there, the world would be a chaos and there would not be any order. And everything revolves around this issue. But isn't the world a chaos now as well? What went wrong? Han't human actually made a business out of every belief today? Why don't we fear killing someone by will/by mistake and rather fear a ritual and take it for granted to cover our sins!

Love, they say is a natural feeling, "ho jata hai' ( happens on its own) and it cannot be controlled? Really? Think again. Now rewind back to the cases you hear often that a boy and girl belonging to different religions fell in love and this was not accepted by the families of either. What happens in such cases most of the times? Either the couple has to leave their homes and find a hide-out or the last option - suicide. But who was responsible for this? Parents blame their bringing up in these matters, the couple blames the parents and world, while the actual culprit is still a question mark! This is just one type of example, the number is infinite actually when it comes to cases related to discrimination as per religion. How many people must have given twice a thought for a girl or a boy in terms of love when it came to religion? Well, love can happen anytime, anywhere with anyone, but it eventually gets controlled by religion becoming a barrier between faiths, beliefs and humankind!

From a certain age, we are indirectly made to understand to know our religion better than the other, to worship a certain kind of God, to pray in certain kind of a temple and the labels just go and on. We believe or we are made to believe ...is what I don;t understand. Where am I in this all when I was only told to do all this and I keep doing it in some mere fear!

I am not against the existence of God or any supernatural force. I know someone is there watching my actions, helping me out in ways unknown and that someone is not visible but is there in each one of us. But what more? I thank that force, I am all respects for it, but why should I divide that force just because its my way of considering it as one. Nobody gave humans the right to divide that supernatural force and drag people into believing what they do. Today people need excuses to fight in the name of religion, oppose, revolt, comment, taunt and post/advertise just to probe. And all this has a selfish attitude involved. If it was really based on a faith and belief of your own, it wouldn't matter whether the other followed it as per you or not. It's your heart, its your belief, why force it on some one? Everyone has a right to follow it in their own way and moral values take care of other things. But if moral value and humanity is only missing, then be it any religion, it cannot be defined or blamed. The humanity of the person is to be blamed if he has committed a crime because a criminal does not have any religion.

Please note: I haven't mentioned any particular religion in this article, so I don;t mean to hurt the sentiments of any particular religion in person. This is just a general approach from my thinking and put here in form a post. Thank you for the read.

Strange? but it is TRUE!

I have always believed in the notion: Wear something you are comfortable in, that adorns your beauty and dignity. ( not what others are comfortable in watching you!)
Strangely, the reality revolves around a totally opposite notion. Our society sees 'Dressing' as an act of being civilized, mannered, homely and majority of people make conclusions on our character as per the dress worn. This post is mainly meant on the so called norms of dressing that many girls, like myself face even today with the trouble of choosing what to wear in order to please the society and family. Or I would rather say, in fear of the society and family!

Recently I have realized, that a girl does not decide what she wears, it is the society norms that decide her clothing. ( shocked? seems ridiculous right?) But it is true. We don;t realize that because we are at the far end of this chain while the beginning is somewhere unknown! Let us shortlist the general questions which must be coming to the mind while choosing a dress for yourself, or lets say, you must be indirectly expected to think twice before wearing something? These are some questions revolving around just one thought - The judgement of Others!
Log kya sochenge ( What will people think?)
Ma-papa kuch bolenge toh nahi? (What will my parents think? )
Would they even allow me to go out of my own house wearing that?

On the other hand, parents think - Kuch ho gaya toh? Naam kharab hoga ( If something happens to her? society reactions!!) and all the crap! Well I understand they feel protective about us, but this is controlling someone's way to express! This gives rise to Fear and eventually compromising on tastes, just always! Why all these questions revolve solely around a girl? She is always being watched upon in different ways right from her own house to wherever she goes. There is this famous proverb : Charity begins at Home. Which means that you should try to help your family and friends before you think of helping other people. If restrictions begin at home itself, where do you think the mentality is taking the society?

So many people still believe that a girl invites trouble for herself, because she dresses in a certain way. But no one asks as to who gave the right to take it as an Invitation after all? People give a mean look to girls wearing short, sleeveless, glamorous dresses. Often elderly people are found saying : Western culture has spoiled the girls, and this statement comes from the way she dresses. She is judged from just one mere look, scanned through and the comments start flowing. Who is to be blamed for those judgments  Who is to be blamed for those passing lewd comments and harassing? Who probes them? Me, you, the family who brought him up or the society and cultural norms that influenced his mindset....who has to be held responsible?

Girls have become a subject of symbolism and a status symbol. They are therefore adorned and portrayed in a certain way as to being presented as an identity of the family. But what is wrong if she takes decisions for herself? What is wrong if she is independent and wants to live as per her choice? Well, it is wrong because you are questioning her freedom. You are making her think that her choices don't matter. You are making others think that she is born to adjust with the society and family. A little of this thinking gives rise to a chain reaction of negative thinking. The more a person is stopped from doing something, the more he is probed to do it. And this is something our society needs to understand. You tell a girl not to cross a certain line, who will tell the boys to do the same?

The rate at which the rape cases are happening in our country, there are millions of issues arising daily questioning the society in different context. This is one major context in which the victim is questioned upon! As a result, other girls in the society don;t get to live as they want to. Wearing something is still a small issue, the other big ones are relative to that.

When we talk of changing the society. nobody realizes that the change is required in the way we SEE, THINK and DO as an individual ourselves. Blaming the girls for what they wear, is not the solution, it is a way of declaring that what happened was in result of the actions of the girl! You cannot even blame the parenting for a way girl dresses. It is her right to wear what she wants. Misusing someone for the reason that she likes to live by her choice is a crime!

I know many people will not agree with my piece of writing here and many would have agreed too. But I want to ask, do you really respect the women in your lives? Nothing can surpass respect. But the definition of respect will change if it comes by suppressing the needs of her! It will be a forced one in that case!
On the other hand, how many times have you exclaimed or passed a comment on seeing a girl dressed in glamorous way or watched her like a scanner? How many of you have exclaimed that she isn't a heroine to be wearing it? Why that comparison?

You cannot control someone else's state of mind, urge or thinking. You can only INFLUENCE IT! A criminal's mind cannot be controlled may what come. A person forcing upon his rights on other, is a sign of cowardliness and weakness. Increasing fear, will only increase the crimes. You may stop a thousand girls from dressing in a certain way, but the crime - rate will not decrease, because the basis lies in the narrow - mindedness in the way things are looked upon.

If you observe nature, everyone is born free and everybody has the right to survive. In the name of safety and security hidden behind the curtains of society, we humans do not gain the rights to control someone's way of living.

True respect comes with open mind only because it is then you accept someone with his/her dignity, maintaining their self respect and yours too. If a child understands this, he/she will never grow to be a criminal, may what comes.

Often Wonder...

I often wonder…
Am I so addicted to you?
When I keep craving to relive all those moments with you;

I often wonder…
Am I still in Love with you?
When you keep going away and I only run after you;

I often wonder…
What keeps me pulling towards you?
When your eyes sparkle and peep me through.

I often wonder…
Will my dreams ever come true?
When I close my eyes to sleep and all I see is YOU!

Answers in blunder…
Life seems like a long queue
Where I stand waiting for the pearl-like morning dew.

Still I wonder…
Could there be someone better than you?
When my heart lies scared of separating from you.

Seasonal thunders….
Will any of above ever come true?
What lies beneath me is silence all through.

My mind ponders...
Revolving around a mystery with shallow clues;
Glimpses of memories which made me fall in love with you.

EYES

The Eyes – they weave a story beneath,

A story waiting for something to reap,

Looking like some sparkling ocean deep

Hiding dreams of a freedom fleet.

Carrying a calmly velvety feel;

Eyes have tangled tales to reveal.

The first glimpse of love is shone so bright

In the eyes of the innocent, a foggy light

The rage of angers, thundering roars,

Blind out the sight against all odd shores.

Where Emotions find their way to express;

Where the heart depends to depress;

Where the soul finds a suitable mate;

Love at first sight happens at this gate.

Quiet and calm, eyes don’t make noise,

Still speak the truth without raising a voice.

A look into them can make hearts go crazy

A colour of love can make your world go hazy;

Millions of tales, still the eyes never lie,

Countless feelings, still the eyes only shy,

When a peep of intimacy comes their way

Eyes accept them smiling away

Reflecting only a shimmering wave

A look so right, a shine so rare.

Eyes hold a silence, eyes can dare to scare
Eyes save a balance between death and prayers
Eyes express all in words no need to be told.
Eyes carry that depth within, can make the heart get sold.

My Love is Sold

Courtesy : CONCEALED DESIRES by HELENA WIERZBICKI

The shimmering night had silence to wave...
The shivering waves had thrills to crave...
Those withering clouds had something to say,
Amidst the sky that quietly laid.
In the hope of a bright sunshine someday..
In the blink of an eye that flickering change...
And halting sunlight that shone me a day
Awaiting a sign, you will come back one day.

A confusion still fills my heart so deep
Will you be back is a hope that creeps...
My faiths have proved wrong in the past already gone
I have moved on, but not fully grown from the torn.
From the pain of the feel that killed my life
From the breathless squeal that ruined to strive
And the survivor stands here begging to thrive
As you turn away taking an ignorant dive.

Whether I should wait, is what I want to know.
Whether I should gaze, or whether I should go?
The mind is so practical, the heart, an emotional fool
Still the pacifying mind seems shivering in wool
A thrill so rare, a marching tool
A stimulation in thousand affairs of mules
Queries to launch, increasing thirst...
Compromising life is faded with dust.

Still I stand here, wait for something...
Something which has proved to be next to nothing
A pride of fear I carry in my soul
A celebrating deer, scared of the roar,
Which will come one day to eat me away...
Your lips will open to only ruin my day
Those lips that uttered once, words so pure
Those words I believed were my only cure.
So dependent was I , but not anymore!
So Caring was I, but I am scared to sour;
So selfless was I, but my Love has been sold
To the merchants of the selfish, In the hands offshore.

Can I call it REVENGE?

Ever imagined a possibility such…

Where a dream comes true with efforts not much?

Ever craved for a feeling as such…

Where a moment of pain vanishes with a touch?

Hopes are many, wishes are endless…

Dreams in a penny, stories in a nutshell…

Grieving sights, tears of despair…

Happiness craving for sparkles to declare…

A hailing truth, a falsely storm…

Waits by closely to destroy your warmth…

Running in a crowd, forced to walk

Waiting for doors to open, the doors that are locked!

A cuddly feel, but a fake visual

A shivering belief, but soggy ritual

Hovers in air, an aimless affair…

Ready to tear some grappling stare.

Then the hopes go down and faces depart

Left with shatter in millions of hearts

Inviting new challenge, calling for a rage

Some millionth part of a chapter in this world called stage!

And the victory beholds in the hands of some unknown

But you are left with questions alone

Imagination ruins and takes a downfall…

You crave for that touch to give a safety call

Strangling and blabbering are emotions inside

Does the feeling of revenge really take pride?

For things in your hands which you slowly let loose,

For some feeling of hatred which led you on a cruise..

Of stormy rides, of meaningless prides..

A ruined world, which you were made to choose.

By a mind so lost in a chilling frost,

And a heart so alone, in some filthy slot

You surely cannot dance, wearing a pair of oversize shoes

But this realization also comes with the shoes you choose!!!

An omnipresent cure.....
Yes, you are the Mirage of my Life.

A shivering hold...
Unsolvable fold...
Wavering past glory...

Yes you are Indeed the Mirage of my Life.

I cannot have you....
But I can still feel you....
I cannot reach you...
But can still enjoy your sight....
You are the ultimate Mirage of my Life!!!!

Just 10 minutes is what it took me to write this................!!

Are you Civilized?

If one finger points at me, the other three are towards you!!! Question your own self first!!!

Civilized....A state of being characterized by taste, refinement, or restraint - of politeness and being well - mannered. I was giggling while referring to these meanings, as I don't think, many of us belong to these words in actual sense, So are we civilized indeed? Recently the outrages of" Uncivilized people in the society should be removed"...."We need to change ourselves first " , was quite a lot being heard just everywhere. But what are the extremities we all living in ? What do we need to change...Have we tried to even question that? Thus I here by come with an unexpected conclusion, majority of us out there, including me, are in the Non - Civilized category.

I know, there must be many questions bombarding in your mind, how, why, what the hell you saying and all. Patience please!! A civilized person is characterized by refinement of restraint...remember? How many of us are actually well - mannered or polite to be said in true sense? Don't we follow the much applauded quote - Rules are meant to be broken? And here I am not speaking about people below the age of 18. I am talking about real adults - people who own the right to Vote, the right to choose their leaders, make their decisions, and yes, live an independent life. Firstly we all should be matured enough to understand ourselves following the true meaning of a civilized society.Lets take an example: Primitive man was uncivilized. He didn't know anything. But he had all the natural gifts given to himself just like each one of us. He needed to evolve. But don't we need to evolve as well? Primitive man to modern man has seen a huge degree of evolution in terms of technologies, developments, leadership, and the list is endless. But where are our MORAL VALUES? Most of us have parents to teach us that, if not, school does that, and if not even that, experiences make us realize so much. But do we really know the meaning of well - mannered and politeness? And that too not only in the way we act, it could be mere pretense  but also in the way we think!

When I see, hundreds of people, impatiently forcing the traffic to break the red lights, restless people blowing horns to probe the ones on the front to move ahead, it seems as if everyone has forgot the traffic rules and even the traffic policemen don't give a damn to it. Even for that matter, breaking queues, pushing the other to get ahead of that, trying to be first and fast all the time. I don't blame every individual for this attitude of being uncivilized, I belong the same category too, there is nothing personal, let me repeat that, there is nothing personal. But have our priorities changed from being a civilized human to the state of being uncivilized? Have the tensions and pressures of daily life increased so much, that we giving up on our real actual selves? Where is all this coming from? This is what needs to be questioned. The coming generation will be more demanding, more impatient and only choose things more  easier their way. This is just one example. There could be countless number of them in our daily lives. Like, don't we tend to think for just ourselves when it comes to making an Honorable and respectful successful life? We forget to give importance to people who actually made us what we are today, most of the times.

Sometimes, I think, primitive man had a much relaxed life,  close to nature, and free indeed. We all are bound somewhere in the loops of self centered attitudes, selfishness, fulfilling and running after useless materialistic dreams, and have forgotten the meanings of living and life, for both ourselves and others. How the hell are we supposed to act in polite way with others, when we don't treat our own selves that way. And that's what, is being uncivilized termed as. Everything is becoming a mere duty, whether we want or not, we have to do it. We treat it as such, its not that something becomes duty, or that feeling comes overnight. But the priorities change, and that makes us think and do that way. Our urges are becoming out of control. We want to achieve and have just everything, and this WANT....I want, are dangerous norms.

Its a heavy stuff to take for now, a realization which may come in generations uncounted. But its is a fact. Look around you, and someone or the other is breaking rules, being dominating, dictating the other, using harsh slang as a casual language, and then we all say.....its 21st century dude...chalta hai! (its okay) which is not at all OKAY! Why have we just accepted everything because everyone does it? Don't we have a self  - identity...a respected..a polite one?

Gandhiji, I would say, is an ideal example of a CIVILIZED MAN. But then would his norms work in the society of today? What has changed so much...Its we or the situations? Our army men are disciplined and dignified, constantly standing up and fighting against all odds to protect our country. On the contrary, the rage from policemen at the protest in Delhi, was not at all acceptable. Why people become puppets at the hands of so called powerful individuals. Doesn't that make them uncivilized? Whats the difference then between the Free India today, and that was before 1947? Only the leaders are Indian, that's it?

Thus, my aim is to make you start questioning this with you and around you. There is a CIVILIZED human in all of us. But he is sleeping. Its high time, to wake him up, and fight to being OURSELVES for the betterment of this society. There may be millions of examples of uncivilized people around us, but do not forget, there are hundreds of Civilized ones too. We just tend to ignore them at the concept of IDEAL or SPECIAL people. Its not about being special or different, its about being REAL and true. Its about FACING it as a HUMAN....a strong courageous one.

I Miss you...Yes, I do!

There are some people in your life, you tend to miss at some point of time, not like you dying to be with them forever, but for those rare moments you shared once with them. These moments become memories, indeed sweetest of ever, and you get charged up all over again whenever you rewind back. I have shared such rare moments too with some people, who eventually became really good friends, while some I know just as a glimpse of that time, But still, they did make a difference somewhere. I value each one of them and their memory is like a silver lining between the dark clouds that set in my life now and then. This little poem is dedicated to each one of them. Thank you for being there when I was finding a New meaning to my Life.

Missing, a feeling, a healing, to something so real,
Had felt in those moments of truthfulness surreal
Like a wave of, in the caves of memories to unfurl;
You came to, remained so precious like a pearl.
That shine …so fine…remains still so prime;
Faded not yet, to forget the farthest marines,
Of the laughter, one after the moments we shared in games,
Even a slightest, but the mightiest of shines in the flickering flame.

I miss you, yes I do…you always pass my mind through;
Even for that single time, that time which couldn't be better in few.

I miss you, Yes I do…for all those colourful rainbows you showed;
That filled in my life with butterflies, each time of spring, each time it snowed.

I may not, have spent all. A lifetime to recall;
But I have learned …I have earned…the priceless treasures of all.

Still I…crave and try…To relive every fraction of that mile
That walked I…in shadows of you…in the snowy path through every tile.

Life comes with surprises to cheer…
And with you I have given up so many fears…
The real meaning of Freely Living today…
Came only with the experiences shared your way…
So I miss you…and will do…to slowly peep back through my memory lane..
That shared we…calmly that carried we…in real..in life common to us somewhere!!

Don't console me please.....!

I wished for your smile, but you took mine away…
I wished for your happiness, but you stole mine away…
I wished for you – a bright day, but you left darkness my way…
All had I wished you to hold my hand, but ultimately you made me Lonely today.

I had hopes so innocent, dreams to cherish around…
But you took them away with you and made me numbly clowned!

I had sparkles in my eyes when I watched you come towards me…
But you changed my life into a tear producing industry!

I had learned to live again. Hope again. Dream again with you…
But you shattered it all, destroyed me to fall in an island made of sand dunes!

Now hatred is all I carry with me, to an unending sea of silence beneath
Waiting for the storm to come, and take me away to earth's underneath;
Bury me in a world, in a place, where I can learn to die in real…
As falseness is all left with me, pretense ruling among fears!

Life is something I don’t understand today, Love is a show off stuff
If there is something left in you from me, kindly return to my gulf!

Not to give back the love I had once showered on you with an open heart selflessly…
But to give me a hope to live, to live without hating somebody!
Not to console, or hold me just for the sake of giving me life;
But to teach me to be selfish and think about myself, and not pretend to be a butterfly.
As this world including you, sets the butterfly to freely sway first day…
Only to ruin its colours, originality and cut its wings for their own selfish ways.
